Shaun Ryder

Shaun Ryder’s official Twitter account has been recovered for him by Steven Tregear and Callum Galbraith in our litigation department from his former manager. Twitter accounts are important marketing and advertising tools for artists, as well as being a medium to communicate with fans generally; Shaun has over 20,000 followers. When Shaun’s former manager prevented him from accessing and using his Twitter account, we were instructed to take action and successfully recovered it using Twitter’s complaint procedures arguing that the former manager’s control of the Twitter handle amounted to “passing off”.

We are pleased that Shaun is now able to communicate to his fans using the account and wish him the very best of luck with his new projects.
