Hacking Claims Issued Against Mirror Group

For many years Russells has had a dedicated team of solicitors engaged in pursuing the proprietors of The Sun and The Mirror on behalf of those of our clients whose private information has been obtained by either phone hacking or other unlawful means employed by these newspapers.

Earlier this month, Russells issued court proceedings against MGN Ltd (which owns The Daily Mirror, The Sunday Mirror and The People) on behalf of both the Estate of Amy Winehouse and Cheryl Tweedy.

These are the latest in a long list of cases we have pursued, most of which have successfully settled before court proceedings were even necessary.

Even though the phone hacking and other unlawful actions by these newspapers took place as long ago as the nineties and noughties, it is still possible for you to bring these type of claims.

If you think your phones were hacked during the period of 1991 to 2011 and are interested in pursuing a claim then please contact Steven Tregear or Dan Hoyle.
