Glass Animals set new US chart record

We would like to congratulate Glass Animals who have climbed to the top of the US chart Billboard Hot 100 over a record 59 week ascent with their hit “Heat Waves” (which came out at the beginning of the pandemic).

The previous record was 35 weeks which was held by Mariah Carey with “All I Want For Christmas” in 2019 and before that it was Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix) by Los Del Rio in 1996.

The song has been played 1.3 billion times on Spotify alone.
