Marina Goodman

Marina is a solicitor in the Digital & Technology department. She joined Russells in 2026 having developed a strong practice in IT law with a particular focus on emerging technologies, transformation programmes, and complex commercial arrangements including licensing and developing software. Before joining Russells, Marina trained at Slaughter and May in London before moving to Pinsent Masons as part of the Technology, Media and Telecoms team where she ran the firm’s internal working group on artificial intelligence (AI). Marina spent a year on secondment as a member of the Pinsent Masons generative AI steering committee as their first AI Opportunity Specialist overseeing strategic research and development, investment and delivery of AI-enhanced legal services.

Marina has a keen interest in music, being a classically trained singer and having toured as part of the Philharmonia Chorus. Marina has also worked as an artist manager and is the founder and editor of Roster, an interview-based magazine for emerging artists.
