Aaron Kirsopp

Aaron joined Russells in April 2023 as a Paralegal and qualified into the firm’s Commercial department in September 2025.

Prior to joining the firm, Aaron worked in the music industry as a sound engineer, producer, and performer, as well as managing live bands and organising events. In 2022, he joined the Business Affairs team at [PIAS], where he advised on matters for distinguished independent labels including Play It Again Sam, Bella Union, and Transgressive.

Aaron brings first-hand insight into the creative process to his legal practice. He advises a broad range of clients across the music industry from emerging and established recording artists and songwriters to producers, mixers, managers, and labels. He has a particular interest in the production sector and regularly works with award-winning producers and mixers on their engagements with some of the most successful artists in the business.
