Kirsty Gallacher wins libel and privacy battle

On 23 December 2016, The Sun published an article relating to private medical matters concerning Russells’ client, the popular Sky Sports presenter, Kirsty Gallacher. As a result, proceedings were issued the same day in order to prevent the repetition and viral spread of the allegations.

Less than three months later and two days before their Defence was due to be served, The Sun published an Apology, agreed to pay costs and agreed to give suitable undertakings to Kirsty Gallacher.
