Marine qualified as a solicitor in 2014. She joined the Commercial team at Russells in 2015, where she assists in all aspects of the firm’s Commercial practice in the Digital Media, Games, Music, Film and TV sectors.
Marine acts for a broad range of clients from artists, producers/mixers and record labels to production companies, digital start-ups and game development companies, advising on a wide range of commercial and contractual matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Marine spent several years in-house at SEGA (the multinational video game developer and publisher) where she was involved in all aspects of video games development and publishing, from content creation and clearance, to exploitation and brand protection. She is also experienced in advising clients on regulatory matters, such as data privacy and consumer protection. Her time working in-house means that she has built-up a strong knowledge and understanding of the video game industry and the challenges which its players face and is uniquely positioned to give her clients clear, timely and relevant advice.
Marine sits on the board of Women in Games and is a BAFTA associate member.
