Lucy joined Russells as an Employment Solicitor in 2022.
Lucy advises a variety of clients on a broad range of employment and HR matters, covering both contentious and non-contentious advisory work. This includes support on contracts, pay and policies, complex disciplinary issues, termination advice and settlement negotiations. In addition, she provides advice to senior employees regarding all aspects of their employment such as negotiation of terms and grievances.
Lucy also works alongside the Russells corporate team to provide specialist employment input on large-scale corporate acquisitions and disposals.
Lucy is also a member of our Sports group and can provide advice on employment issues within the sports sector, including contract negotiations, discrimination claims and employment advice in the context of team/club takeovers.
Lucy studied Law (with International Law) at the University of Leeds and qualified as a solicitor following the completion of her training contract at Pinsent Masons. She is an active member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association.
In her spare time, Lucy competes both nationally and internationally in Ultimate Frisbee.
