Louise Barretto

Louise is a partner in the family team at Russells with over 25 years’ experience in family law.

She is also qualified to practice in South Africa, where she spent the early part of her career.

Louise deals with all aspects of relationship breakdown and is known for tackling the partners of her clients who may be over-controlling in their approach.

The financial matters she is instructed on often involve business interests and complex asset structures, and many of her clients have a connection to South Africa.

Many of her cases involve complex children issues, often where Parental Alienation is alleged.

She has spoken as an expert on Woman’s Hour on Radio 4, Talk Radio and on Channel 5 news.
