Adam Paterson

Adam qualified as a solicitor in April 2014 and joined Russells Family & Matrimonial department in May 2018. Adam has specialised in family law since qualification and has a further 2 years of family law experience pre-qualification.

Adam advises across the broad spectrum of family law and is able to assist with all issues arising from divorce and separation for married and unmarried (cohabiting) couples including arrangements for children. Adam has experience of cases with an international element, for example, where one or both parties live outside of England and Wales or one parent wishes to take children abroad either temporarily or permanently.

Adam aims to deal with all cases in a constructive and amicable fashion and will always seek an early resolution where it is in his client’s interest to do so. Where this is not possible, Adam is experienced in representing clients and pursuing their interests within the Court process.
