Employment Solicitor Vacancy

We have a fantastic opportunity for a 2+ PQE Employment Solicitor to join our firm. The role is a split of non-contentions (advisory and corporate support) and contentious for a range of clients (predominantly across the media, entertainment and music industries). You will be expected to take ownership of matters, work closely with clients, and be involved in helping to build the practice.  Applicants should have an excellent grounding in English employment law, a positive “can-do” attitude and should be approachable and commercial.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of representing both individuals and employers across the full spectrum of employment-related matters, both contentious and non-contentious;
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage a busy case load;
  • Strong team player, but able to work independently as well as being a part of a busy and high performing department;
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills;
  • Solid drafting skills;
  • Employment law experience, including TUPE, unfair dismissal, bonus claims, discrimination, whistleblowing etc; and
  • Desire to be active in business development to source new work as well as maintaining existing client relationships.
