Oliver read Law at King’s College London and qualified as a solicitor in September 2014. Oliver joined Russells’ litigation department in March 2016, having worked previously at specialist intellectual property practice Briffa, focusing on IP protection, exploitation and enforcement work.
Oliver has considerable experience in music and entertainment industry litigation, having advised both individuals and companies on a range of matters relating to privacy and defamation, breach of contract and intellectual property. Having worked in-house at Live Nation UK Oliver understands the pragmatic approach often needed by companies to dispute resolution.
Oliver also advises on intellectual property protection and exploitation, with a focus on trade mark filing, portfolio management and infringement work.
Oliver assists John Reid in the Russells’ employment department, including drafting contracts for music and entertainment industry executives and advising on contentious issues, with a focus on employment settlement agreements.
